about advantage insurance network

Advantage Insurance Network, Inc. (AIN) est. 1993 is a diversified Independent Marketing Organization delivering products and services from Life Insurance companies to its Member Firms in the Independent Brokerage Distribution Channel.

AIN’s Core Carrier platform has a limited number of insurance companies by design. Each Company was chosen to achieve the ultimate complement of product, services, and underwriting. The AIN Companies are Brighthouse Financial, Corebridge Financial, Equitable, F&G Life & Annuity, Foresters Financial, Global Atlantic Financial Group, John Hancock, Legal & General, Lincoln Financial Distributors, MassMutual Strategic Distributors, Mutual of Omaha, Nationwide, New York Life, North American, OneAmerica, Principal, Protective Life, Prudential, Sagicor, Securian Financial, Symetra Financial and Transamerica.

The infrastructure of AIN has been developed to enhance the relationship between the AIN Insurance Companies and the AIN Member Firm by utilizing AIN’s extraordinary marketing capabilities and operational expertise.  The goal is to drive substantial premium to the AIN Companies while assisting the AIN Member Firms to optimize market share and organic growth.  AIN Member Firms are currently present in most major cities throughout the United States.

It is AIN’s opinion, from as far back as 2008, that there is a fundamental shift underway in the life insurance industry that will ultimately require participants at all levels of the industry to develop a new skillset. This skillset will no longer be based strictly on the delivery of a commoditized price or through superior compensation. While these elements will remain part of the service offering, their role will be diminished and ultimately superseded by marketing expertise, training and education, thought leadership and the ability to penetrate new markets.

While it is the insurance carrier’s responsibility to manufacture product and design processes which foster an environment where life insurance competes for walletshare, it is also the responsibility of the distributor to develop creative marketing and promotional techniques. Further, it is also imperative that the distributor focus heavily on training and education platforms with advisors. To that end, AIN has made major investments in marketing, underwriting, training and education infrastructure which AIN believes will push the industry forward to compete for walletshare.

The development of these skills requires investment of real dollars and human capital from the carrier, NMO and BGA. It is AIN’s belief that our platform, which delivers real human capital and high quality outsourcing opportunities to BGAs is the most effective way to encourage BGAs to focus on recruiting and educating agents. This belief leads directly to key strategic initiatives that are currently underway at AIN.
