Rates are on the rise! Newer, higher rates for Performance Pro® fixed indexed annuity (FIA) and FG Guarantee-Platinum® multi-year guaranteed annuity (MYGA) will be effective April 8. Here are the highlights:

Performance Pro:

• Cap and par rates increasing on most of the interest crediting options
• Your clients can collect a 12% premium bonus rate! Click here for details.

FG Guarantee-Platinum fixed interest rates:

• 3-Year: ↑ 30 bp to 2.95%
• 5-Year: ↑ 25 bp to 3.35%
• 7-Year: ↑ 15 bp to 3.40%

Important Reminders…

• Rates apply to new business issued with the April 8 effective date and later.
• Requests to reissue previously issued contracts with new, higher rates will not be honored.
• Standard rate lock rules apply. Please refer to F&G’s rate lock procedures for more details.

FROM FIDELITY & GUARANTEE…

We’re adding the chronic illness rider to California policies

Good news: Effective November 22, we are adding the chronic illness accelerated death benefit rider to eligible new and inforce fixed indexed universal life insurance (FIUL) policies issued in California. This rider comes at no additional cost of insurance to your clients.

Important Dates

• Eligible policies issued November 22, 2021 and after will receive the rider.
• Eligible inforce policies with an effective date between January 27, 2021 and November 21, 2021 will also receive the rider.
• Updated marketing materials will be available on SalesLink® starting November 22, 2021.
• Accelerated death benefit disclosure forms will be available on SalesLink and e-App on November 22, 2021.
• Illustrations will include the new rider starting November 20, 2021. (Please note that this rider will illustrate a one-time 100% acceleration, which is a different payment structure than other states.)

Current eligible FIUL policyholders in California with a policy effective date between January 27, 2021 and November 21, 2021 will receive an endorsement letter and disclosure form from F&G in the mail. Mailings will begin shortly.
