AIN Events: The Current State of the Whole Life Market

Whole Life is truly a two-sided coin. On the one side, it offers rock solid guarantees and a conservative yet attractive IRR on cash and death benefit. On the other, there are non-guaranteed elements with a level of flexibility and even complexity equivalent to other accumulation products like Indexed Universal Life. For most of us, simply because Whole Life has not been a prominent brokerage product, the nuances that separate one product from another are largely unknown. That presents a serious challenge: Whole Life sales are growing, an “illustration war” similar to that in the IUL segment is being waged, and it is time for all of us to increase our level of understanding of the segment. Join AIN as we welcome Bobby Samuelson back to the AIN Events forum to discuss his recent series of articles on the segment in an effort to gain a deeper understanding of Whole Life.
